Cabot Softball Association
The Cabot Softball Association provides opportunities for girls ages 5 to 16 from Cabot and the surrounding areas to play fastpitch softball at both recreational and competitive levels.  We offer youth fastpitch in the spring and fall.  Travel teams are welcome and are required to participate in the upper classification.  Tournaments are held almost every weekend during the season at the Cabot softball complex.

Buying a Bat
Rule of Thumb --- A player needs the heaviest bat that they can swing with a smooth level motion at full speed. If a player is not able to swing at full speed, they are loosing power!
Here is a list of average lengths of bat used by various age groups. This is a nation average.

Fall is right around the corner.  One change this year is contact me on sunday evening either by email or phone call.  If you wait till Monday afternoon we might be full.  You will need to contact me each and every week.
If you plan on practicing at Cabot you will need to reserve a practice time.

If I hear or see your team listed for a tournament I will not schedule you for that weekend.

Schedule are usually posted here by Wednesday morning.  However you  will need to recheck Friday afternoon for any revision that affect you playing time. I WILL NOT CALL YOU IF GAME TIME CHANGES

14/16 will pitch at 43ft.  But if you are a 1st yr 14 or 12 playing up I have no problem with 40ft.  But both teams must agree and you are responsible for changing the  rubber before and after.
Now with that said lets play some ball !!!
